These are the projects that I have worked on in the past two years while attending the Illinois Institute of Art.
1. Habilitative Systems Incorporated
Drupal, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DreamweaverCS3, PhotoshopCS3.
This is content managment system that lets the client manage their own services, job postings, events and more. The Site is intended to empower the client and let them maintain their own presence, it is built on the Drupal framework.
2. Acupuncture Application (E-Learning acupuncture simulator)
Flash AS3, Photoshop CS3, Dreamweaver CS3, Adobe Illustrator
The Acupuncture Simulator is a Flash based e-Learning product that would be used as a supplement for acupuncture practitioners, and those wishing to understand the concepts, and applications. The objective of this project was to engage users and teach the concepts of acupuncture while finally allowing users to demonstrate their understanding by application
3. Madden Draft Show
Flash AS3, XML, and PhotoshopCS3.
This is a slideshow that is driven by dynamic XML, it incorporates many separate attributes for a National Football League draft. This site is targeted towards casual gamers. It was meant to develop brand awareness for EA sports video game. The game images are copyright of EA Games. The goal was to develop a object oriented fully functional site. The images and text are all xml driven and allows for a client to update and change the site, without having to know the slightest bit about web development.
4. Homeless Cop (Site for local artist Jason F.)
XHTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, PhotoshopCS3, DreamweaverCS3, AJAX, Flash AS3.
This site targets new and existing fans of the artists work. This was created as collaboration with a local artist. We wanted to develop a navigation that would let users scroll through artwork in an intriguing way, so I developed a sliding navigation feature built on the coda-slider engine, we use this to display the artists paintings, projects, and drawings
5. Brad and Jen (Wedding Slideshow)
Flash AS3, XML, and PhotoshopCS3.
This is a slideshow that is driven by dynamic XML. This site is targeted towards friends and family members. It incorporates a physics engine that drops the clickable thumbnails to bring up full photos. The photography is copyright of Drew Wasserman (ME!). The goal was to create an experimental flash site that uses mathematical formulas to reproduce pseudo-realistic physics.
6. Coldwell Banker (Real Estate Agent Profile)
PhotoshopCS3, DreamweaverCS3, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
This is a website design and layout for a professional real estate broker. This site targeted young and old professionals who are in the housing market in the gold coast area. The goal for this project was to create a more personal web-platform for a real-estate broker. The client wanted to display events and attractions in relation to properties found on the map.
7. CSS Zen Garden (CSS layout concepts)
PhotoshopCS3, IllustratoCS3
These are flat design layouts for potential development in HTML, CSS. These designs were meant to show the possibilities for unique and extravagant design by using CSS. Though these designs were never developed, they adhere to the principals of good CSS layout. A personal goal i have is to develop these sites for use on the CSS Zen Garden website. If I ever have time.
8. Casey's Amusement Park (A child-friendly attraction site)
XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, PhotoshopCS3.
This is a website for a amusement park. This was targeted to primarily children, by using a cartoon style feel. I wanted to develop a site that would provide random animations and drive the audience, particularly children to get information that they can use to convince their parents to take them to the amusement park
9. Mealn & Dealn (Marketing Project)
XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PhotoshopCS3, IllustratorCS3
This is a website developed for a marketing class. This was targeted to students at the school who are interested In saving money on food. The goal of the project was to provide a list of restaurants that feature different meal specials for each day, or period. It is intended to provide a platform for businesses to join the program, as well as students.
10. Memories Photography (Studio)
Flash AS2, PhotoshopCS3.
This is a flash site that is intended to promote a fictitious photography studio. This is targeted toward visitors looking for a professional photography studio. The transition from page to page in this site is intended to produce random images that produce a different experience for every user, every time!
11. Ginga (The Beautiful Game)
Flash AS2, PhotoshopCS3.
This is a flash video integrated web-site that promotes a Nike Documentary about Brazilian Football. The footage is copyrighted by the Nike Corporation and Fox Soccer Channel. The goal was to integrate both streaming video and embedded video files. The transitions from page to page develop into a story that ends in an exciting conclusion!
12. A.Eye(Illinois Institute of Art - Student Paper)
XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DreamweaverCS3, PhotoshopCS3.
This is a website that is intended to help students display their literary work and artistic work. This site was targeted toward students who are looking for more information about what is happening at the school. It is also intended to showcase both student and faculty work. This project was built and developed by me to create a template system that would leave the future web-editor the ability to fill in new stories and create new sections that manage articles and sections.
13. No Games Chicago (Site for non-profit group)
PhotoshopCS3, DreamweaverCS3, HTML, CSS.
This is a website for a non-for-profit organization. This site was intended to inform Chicagoans about the economic pitfalls associated with the proposed staging of the Olympic Games in the city. The main goal of this project is to incorporate a wealth of information into an attractive visual display. There is time-line style layout that I used to accomplish this. Also, the client wanted an ability to submit you information, conduct polling, and utilize rss feeds.
14. White Eyelash (Music Site)
AS2, After Effects, PhotoshopCS3, Swift 3d.
This is a launching site for a client that needed to synthesize his presence on the web. The goal was to create a Flash 3d navigation that displays information about the musical exploits of the artist.
15. Interiors by Design (Web site for a interior design business)
XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, DreamweaverCS3, PhotoshopCS3.
This is a mock interior design web-site. The site is intended to display the different works of the design company. The site was developed with thumbnail galleries that make the past work of the design firm easily viewed while taking up minimal space on the home page. The transition fades from image to image to provide a smoother experience.
